My name is Carla Bohnett, and I am the owner of CB Photo Design Studio. I am a passionate photographer, and I love capturing my subject’s true personality in my portraiture work. Good headshots are so important to today’s business-person, and I strive to represent who each client is individually. My favorite subjects are those who are reluctant to have their image taken. These are the clients that get the most from seeing a great photo of themselves and where I get the most joy out of seeing their pleased reactions.

As a third-generation San Jose native, I have deep roots in the local community. I have served on many boards and been active in local organizations supporting public education and the art community. Currently I am serving not only on the SVCA board, but am also the National President for the Women’s Networking Alliance, I serve on the Capital Club’s Events Council and most recently was asked to join the Foothill College Photography Department’s Advisory Board.

When time allows, I spend time with my wonderful family; my husband of 25 years, two grown children and three dogs. Travel is a must with recent trips to Italy, New Zealand, Hawaii and all over California, snapping photos along the way!
